Current Projects
Kipp Schulties Golf Design has a number of courses that are under construction or in the planning stages. Among them are:
The Fort Lauderdale Country Club, built in 1926, ranks as the oldest golf course facility in the City of Fort Lauderdale and one of the original golf clubs to be built in the entire State of Florida. This club, rich with golf traditions, is in the process of transitioning itself from a low-key private club to a dominant player in the South Florida golf market. The Club retained the services of Kipp Schulties during the winter of 2006 to draw up a master plan for the redesign of the North golf course and modifications of the South Course.

Kipp Schulties was retained by Boca Woods once the membership decided that the Club was in need of many improvements to their 36 hole golf facility. Schulties developed a master plan during 2007 for the Lakes golf course. The plans are pending approval by the Boca Woods Country Club membership.

Indian Spring Country Club is master planned community that contains 36 holes of championship golf and over 500 residential units. The Club contracted with Kipp Schulties in 2002 to develop a master plan for the eventual redesign and redevelopment of both golf courses. This plan was implemented during the summers of 2004 and 2005.
[ more ]Middle Bay Golf Club retained the services of Kipp Schulties to develop a long range plan during the summer of 2000. The plan is being implemented in small stages with the most recent work completed during the spring of 2007.

The Falls Country Club needed a plan to improve their aging green complexes and add some visual character and better definition into the golf course. In 2005, The Falls retained Kipp Schulties to develop this plan with the implementation of the first phase during the summer of 2007. The Falls Country Club completed the first phase of their master plan consisting of a complete green and bunker complex redesign during the summer of 2007. The second and final phase is pending approval by the Board and is tenataively projected to begin in either 2010 or 2011.

High Ridge Country Club is a very private upscale golf facility in the heart of the Palm Beaches that has quietly become one the truly elite facilities in all of South Florida. Kipp Schulties was retained by the club in 2000 to implement a complete redesign/renovation of the entire facility that would be implemented in two phases.

Quail Ridge Country Club is a private 36 hole golf and residential community. Kipp Schulties was retained in 2003 to serve as a design consultant on a number of projects that will extend through the summer of 2011 or 2012.

Lago Mar Country Club is located in the City of Plantation, Florida along the I-595 corridor. The Club is planning an 8 million dollar overhaul of the existing golf course facility during the summer and fall of 2008

The East golf course at Hunters Run is currently being redesigned for an approved 2008 reconstruction. The project will commence construction at the end of March and will reopen by Thanksgiving.

Construction of this new nine-hole par three, driving range and practice center is a joint venture between a Miami-based real estate developer and Jacksonville University. The 1,000 unit development and the university will share use of this semi-private upscale facility that will be home of the Jacksonville University Dolphin golf team.
[ more ]Current plans are to develop a one-of-a-kind golf practice facility along the oceanfront on the south shoreline of the island of St. Croix. This project is being designed in tandem with 1991 British Open champion Ian Baker-Finch. The practice facility is just the first stage of what will eventually be an entire 18 hole golf course and residential development.

A master plan for the redesign of a 30-year-old private club has been completed. Plans are to turn one of the 18-hole championship courses into a short player friendly par 70 layout with 24 acres of the former regulation-length layout being made available for residential lot sales.

A new 18-hole course is designed and is currently awaiting funding. The design documents have been completed on the municipal project located three blocks from the Intercoastal Waterway.

A long time member of the top luxury resorts in the world, Kipp Schulties has been consulting with Quail Lodge for nearly ten years on both short and long range plans to upgrade the resort golf course.
