Title: Ligonier Country Club - Ligonier, PA
Ligonier Country Club, located just up the hill from Arnold Palmer's boyhood home at Laural Valley Country Club, needed to make several course playability improvements. The Club retained Kipp Schulties to design and implement those changes during the fall and winter of 2001 / 2002.
Established in 1925, Ligonier Country Club has challenged golfers for almost eighty years in the Laurel Highlands. Located intimately between the famous venues of Laural Valley Golf Club and Rolling Rock, Ligonier Country Club is a quaint, family oriented country club with stunning vistas of the Laural Valley. In the fall of 2001, Kipp Schulties was retained to redesign three green complexes along with the development of a recommended list of other course improvements.
