Kipp Schulties maintains an on-going relationship with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, California to consult on a two separate golf developments that have been planned within the City limits. Those two developments are the Trump International Golf Club (Los Angeles) and the Terranea Resort at Long Point.
Kipp Schulties acted as design consultant between the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and the Trump organization on the creation of a badly needed driving range and practice facility amenity along the cost of the Pacific Ocean to serve the new Trump International Golf Course. The amenities, which are located such that they have a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean, were to be planned and constructed in time for the inaugural ladies LPGA tournament that was played at the Trump International Golf Club
Kipp Schulties was also retained as a golf design consultant over the course of four years to work between the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, California and the developer of the proposed Terrenea Resort at Long Point on the creation of a new nine hole par three golf course along the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean. The planned resort sits on the old Marine Land property and has spectacular views of the ocean and the Southern California shoreline.
