Hollywood Beach Hotel & Country Club - Hollywood, FL
A new 18-hole course is designed and is currently awaiting funding. The design documents have been completed on the municipal project located three blocks from the Intercoastal Waterway. Originally built in 1924 and designed by famed architect Donald Ross, the existing course at the site has traditionally been plagued by severe drainage problems. The City has devised a plan that will drain much of downtown Hollywood into a $3-million pump station located at the present golf course and from there into the Intercoastal Waterway. As part of the project, Schulties has designed a course that will include a new clubhouse and maintenance center and will be the centerpiece of the downtown revitalization programs .
